This 13-story red brick tower had a two-story addition constructed in 1941 adding a large ballroom. The office tower addition, known as Bliss Tower, was constructed in 1955. The original hotel’s masonry was cleaned and repaired to match its historic appearance. On the interior, the main lobby was carefully restored, casting replacement plaster ornament onsite from molds taken directly from remaining historic examples. Historic stairs, elevators and corridors were preserved on all floors, with interior demising walls removed to create spacious apartments.
